Overview
The protection of your personal data is important to us. We process personal data exclusively within the framework of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Below we inform you about the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data in connection with the visit and use of this website.
Server log files and hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you access the website, the hosting provider automatically collects information transmitted by your browser and stores it in so-called server log files.
The following is collected in particular: IP address, date and time of access, the page or file requested, the browser and operating system used, and the previously visited page (referrer).
Processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the hosting provider. Where data is transferred to the USA, this is done on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies or any tracking, analytics or marketing tools. In particular, no services such as Google Analytics are used. No usage profiles are created.
Fonts
The fonts used on this website are served locally from our server (self-hosting). When the fonts are loaded, no connection is established to Google servers; no personal data is transmitted to third parties for this purpose.
Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process your email address and the information contained in your message in order to handle your request. This website does not offer a contact form.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation or performance of a treatment relationship) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (handling your request). If your message contains health data, processing is additionally based on Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR (purposes of health care and treatment).
Please note that the transmission of unencrypted emails is not protected against unauthorised access. We recommend that you do not send sensitive information by ordinary email. Your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Online appointments via Doctolib
We use the Doctolib service (Doctolib GmbH, Berlin) for online appointment booking. When you click “Book appointment”, you are redirected to the Doctolib platform. The data you enter there is processed by Doctolib under its own responsibility.
Only Doctolib's privacy policy applies to data processing on the Doctolib platform.
Google Maps
On our contact page we embed a map from the Google Maps service to show you our location and how to get there. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Ireland; a transfer of data to Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out.
When the map loads, your IP address is transmitted to Google. This is necessary for the map content to be displayed in your browser. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in an easily findable practice (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The European Commission's standard contractual clauses are used for the transfer to the USA.
Your rights
Within the framework of the statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and a right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
To exercise your rights, a message to the contact details above is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BlnBDI).

We will adapt this privacy policy as soon as changes to the data processing we carry out or to the legal framework make this necessary. The version published on this page applies.
